Angel for a Special Lady

Sharing a picture of an Angel I made for a lady who shares the same birthday as me! She owns the yarn shop here in town called "Never Enough Yarn". I've always wanted to make her, but never got around to it. So Pam's birthday was the best excuse! I made a yarn ball and put 2 tooth picks in it with pearls on the ends of the toothpicks to look like knitting needles, since she knits! I shared it on Facebook, and now I am taking orders. She turned out prettier than the picture in the magazine! Off to crochet.... :)

Looky What I Made....

Sharing some more things I have crocheted and knitted! The 3 Blanket Buddies that look like little bunnies were knitted! I'm a new knitter, and trying my best at it. I made these for my grandchildren - Colby, Clayton, and Abby! It is beautiful work, but sure does take longer to make things! I confess - I will always be a hooker! Yarn hooker, that is!!! :) I love the little Owl Purse I made! Turned out cuter than the picture. Can't wait to make more of these! The afghans were ones I made for my charity, HeartFelt Angels, for Easter. The hats were made for a friend's charity, Chemo Granny's. She takes hats to the Cancer unit here in Winchester and she is also getting ready to send a box of hats to the kids at St. Jude's. (The hats for the kids are made from all cotton. Then I made the Apple Blossom Rosary. It's Apple Blossom time here where I live and the town turns pink, green, and white!

Just Some More Things to Share...

Just sharing some more things I've made. Like the St. Paddy's Day blankets I made for my charity, HeartFelt Angels. Also made some cotton hats for cancer patients for a group that one of my friends started called "Chemo Granny's". She started her charity in December 2011 and is doing really well. I made hats for the cancer unit for Winchester Medical Center and UVA, also for the kids at St. Jude's Hospital. I am having fun making these hats for the kids.
